StemPur

StemPur media and supplement system exceeds the proliferation and pluripotency result of the industry’s gold standard, Essential 8 (E8). StemPur is chemically defined and animal product free, offering a more complete media environment for maintenance of stem cells. 

Additionally, StemPur has been shown to rescue iPSC’s that have been partially reprogrammed from fibroblasts. See Figure 1 below for increased pluripotent morphology after just 3 days on StemPur.  

The supplement is a proprietary mix of lipids and bioactive molecules. Due to its chemically defined and animal-origin free nature, there is no need to sterile filter the product after mixing. 

Precautions

Only for In Vitro use. 

Supplement: – 20°C before mixing, away from light. It is good for at least one year at this temperature. After mixing with media, refrigerate at 4°C, away from light. It is good for six months at this temperature.

Media: Store at 4°C, away from light. At this temperature, it is good for one year.

Keep in mind, once the supplement has been mixed into the media, the shelf life is six months at recommended storage temperature of 4°C.

Some of the signs of deterioration are as follows:

• pH change (as indicated by phenol red)
• Floating particles in supplement.
