FibroPur is a media-supplement system that surpasses the growth performance of serum supplemented media systems. Both the media and the supplement are animal product free and chemically-defined. The nature of the media virtually eliminates contamination potential and decreases variability between batches of product. FibroPur has been tailored to the unique metabolic needs of fibroblasts.
The supplement is a proprietary mix of lipids and bioactive molecules. Due to its chemically defined and animal-origin free nature, there is no need to sterile filter the media-supplement system after mixing.
Precautions
Only for In Vitro use.
Supplement: – 20°C before mixing, away from light. It is good for at least one year at this temperature. After mixing with media, refrigerate at 4°C, away from light. It is good for six months at this temperature.
Media: Store at 4°C, away from light. At this temperature, it is good for one year.
Keep in mind, once the supplement has been mixed into the media, the shelf life is six months at recommended storage temperature of 4°C.
